Providers will each have their own unique lab login for ordering and viewing labs. Patient advocates, however, have a shared account for each of the three labs we use most frequently.

Labcorp and Quest labs use a patient’s insurance. They also offer self pay rates, however, we receive better self-pay rates with Ulta Labs. Ulta labs offers discounted self-pay labs and does NOT run insurance. For Ulta Labs, providers will send the lab order as an email to the patient. The patient then follows the email instructions to pick a location, schedule a time, and pay for the labs up front. Ulta Labs is not nationwide, so we always have to check locations prior to ordering.
Lab login information is saved in TextExpander under “Admin Login Info” if you ever forget.
Patient Advocates will use their logins to check in on the status of labs, upload lab results to a patient chart, and alert providers when labs are back (though final lab results SHOULD be coming through as a fax to our Monday Daily Operations Board).
