Please note that even when patients do have insurance, it may not be in their best interest to use it. For example, let’s say we need to send the patient for a knee MRI in November. If they have a high-deductible plan, and have not met any of their deductible, it might be best to provide them cash-pay options. At Amaze, we have no conflict of interest with where we send patients or whether or not they decide to use insurance or pay out-of-pocket. Our goal is to find them good care at the lowest cost to them, and to educate them on how to navigate the system in a way that meets these needs.
